SCIENCE WORKSHOP

This time we received the visit of a university geology teacher, David Benavente,  to tell us about salts, stones and minerals.
We learnt how salts grow and saw them on the microscope, it is very interesting as you can see cristals growing. We also made the structure of halite using sticks and plastiline; and learnt about stalactites and stalacmites.

Thanks for the workshop, it really was very good fun!!
