PREDICCIONES DE "REGRESO AL FUTURO"

Al igual que hizo Julio Verne, la pelicula "Regreso al Futuro" grabada en 1989 fantaseó y jugó a las adivinanzas con futuros inventos el futuro. 

La segunda parte de la saga de ‘Regreso al Futuro’ fue un oráculo de los tiempos modernos, marcando una fecha en el calendario, 21 de octubre de 2015. 

Este vídeo recopila la predicción de cómo sería el mundo en el año que acaba de comenzar. Las predicciones de la película aciertan más que fallan, como los drones, videollamadas o hologramas. 

ASTROPHYSICIST - Talk about the Solar System

During our Science Week we also received the visit of Javier Lorenzo, astrophysicist, researcher and teacher at the University of Alicante, and also, for us, Aitana's uncle.

We revised concepts, facts and ideas we had learnt in Social Sciences a few weeks ago. However, we had the oportunity to understand much better why things happen in space.

We learnt about the size of the planets, their composition, the solar flares,... and Javier gave us an excellent global overview of space, the importance of its study and the future.

SCIENCE WORKSHOP

This time we received the visit of a university geology teacher, David Benavente,  to tell us about salts, stones and minerals.
We learnt how salts grow and saw them on the microscope, it is very interesting as you can see cristals growing. We also made the structure of halite using sticks and plastiline; and learnt about stalactites and stalacmites.

Thanks for the workshop, it really was very good fun!!

COSTA BLANCA DOODLES

The third year students have been learning about the Google Doodles, and in our Art lessons have been practicing ... 

We have prepared a doodle for the different day's anniversaries during the year, such as Peace Day, Children's Rights Day, etc. and that, of course, included Comenius, and Europe Day on the 9th of May.

26 DE SEPTIEMBRE, DÍA EUROPEO DE LAS LENGUAS

El 26 de septiembre de 2001 fue proclamado por el Consejo de Europa con el apoyo de la Unión Europea, el Día Europeo de las Lenguas. Su principal objetivo es fomentar el aprendizaje de idiomas en toda Europa.

Los objetivos generales de este día son:

• Alertar al público sobre la importancia del aprendizaje de idiomas y diversificar la gama de lenguas, a fin de incrementar el plurilingüismo y la comprensión intelectual.

• Promover la rica diversidad lingüística y cultural de Europa.

• Fomentar el aprendizaje permanente de idiomas dentro y fuera de las escuelas.

En este día se organizan una serie de eventos en toda Europa, actividades para niños, programas de radio y televisión, clases de idiomas y conferencias.

LAS LENGUAS EN ESPAÑA

En clase ya hemos estudiado las diferentes lenguas que existen en nuestro país. También sabemos que la lengua oficial de España es el castellano o español. 

Pero también tenemos lenguas cooficiales en algunas comunidades autónomas. Sabemos que en Galicia hablan gallego, en el País Vasco y Navarra hablan euskera, en Cataluña y las Islas Baleares hablan catalán y que en la Comunidad Valenciana hablamos valenciano.

LAS LENGUAS EN EUROPA

En Europa hay muchas lenguas diferentes, éstas se agrupan dependiendo de su origen. Por ejemplo el castellano, francés, rumano e italino son lenguas románicas.
